Who We Are

Project Mycelium Cipher ("PMC," "we," "us," or "our") is developed by TANGENIX Pvt. Ltd. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through our waitlist page and any associated communications.

What We Collect

When you join the PMC waitlist, we collect:

• Email address — to notify you about early access, launch updates, and product news
• Name (if provided) — to personalize communications
• Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referral source (via analytics)
• Cookie data — see Section 6 for full breakdown

We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data at this stage.

How We Use Your Data

We will never sell your data. We will never use it for unrelated third-party marketing.

Who We Share Data With

We use a minimal set of third-party processors:

• Supabase — Database storage (waitlist entries). Data processed under their DPA.
• Email provider (e.g., Resend / Brevo) — For sending waitlist emails
• Analytics tool (e.g., Plausible / Umami) — Privacy-first, no personal data shared with ad networks

No data is shared with advertisers, data brokers, or AI training pipelines without explicit consent.

Data Retention

• Waitlist data is retained until: (a) you unsubscribe, (b) the product launches and we migrate to a full user system, or (c) 24 months of inactivity — whichever comes first.
• Analytics data is aggregated and not tied to individuals.

You can request deletion at any time. See Section 8.

Cookies

We use three categories of cookies:

Essential — Required for the site to function. Cannot be disabled.

• Session management, security tokens

Analytics — Help us understand how people use the site.

• Page views, referral source, device type (no fingerprinting)
• Default: off unless you opt in

Preferences — Remember your settings (e.g., dark mode).

• Default: on if you've interacted with any preference toggle

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie banner or the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.

Your Rights

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of data we hold about you
• Correction — Fix inaccurate data
• Deletion — Request removal of your data from our systems
• Portability — Receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent — Unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send

Data Security

Waitlist data is stored in Supabase with row-level security enabled. Access is restricted to authorized team members only. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

We are a small, early-stage team. We will be transparent if a breach occurs.

International Users

PMC is built for global users. If you are accessing from the EU/EEA, UK, or California, the following applies:

• GDPR / UK GDPR: We rely on consent as our lawful basis for waitlist communications. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
• CCPA: We do not sell personal information. California residents may request disclosure of data collected in the past 12 months.

Children

PMC is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We'll post changes here and update the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we'll notify waitlist members via email.
